Role
We actively seek individuals fluent in Spanish or Vietnamese, in addition to English. Bilingual Clerks help us ensure that voters receive language assistance when needed. Bilingual Clerks are crucial in supporting election judges as they work diligently to meet state and federal language assistance requirements at the Vote Center.
Responsibilities
- Organizing the polling place before the polls open.
- Ensuring that qualified voters are permitted to vote.
- Checking in and processing registered voters
- Distributing ballots to registered voters.
- Answering voters’ questions.
- Explaining the use of the voting equipment.
- Maintaining order in the polling place on Election Day.
