Q: How do I sign someone up for training?
A: We will send each person an email with the link and their personal credentials to login to the training portal to register for class.
Q: Do you get paid for training?
A: Pay for training is contingent on if you work early voting or election day. If you are offered a position to work and turn it down or do not show up to work, you will not get paid for training.
Q: Where do we come for training class?
A. All training offered for this election will be in-person at our Elections Training / Warehouse Building located at 1460 Round Table Dr, Dallas, Texas 75247.
Q: Do Inspectors need to attend training?
A: Yes. It is mandatory that Inspectors attend Advanced Training. They need to register for a date and time that is convenient for them. There is also a mandatory Inspector meeting provided where they will pick up supplies needed. They will be notified of the date and time to attend the meeting.
Q: What is the difference between Basic, Advance Refresher, and Advance training?
- Basic Training – In-person training that focuses on the election equipment (E-Pollbook, voting machine, and vote tabulator) (3 hours)
- Advance Refresher Training – In-person training that discusses new changes (3 hours)
- Advance Training – In-person training that focuses on the election equipment (E-Pollbook, voting machine, and vote tabulator) and PEO/Judge paperwork (5 Hours)
Q: How much do you get paid for training?
- Advance Training Class - $100
- Virtual Advanced Refresher Class - $40
- Basic Training Class - $48
- Virtual Basic Refresher Class - $32
Q: How much do ED Inspectors get paid?
A: $25/hr
